            Yes, you too, could have purchased your very own ferris wheel on eBay.

The winning bid was...$132,400 from a real estate developer in Oklahoma, who bought it sight unseen. It's also gonna cost him another $135,000 to buy a base for it.

I wanted to shoot it the night before it closed. It spins for the last time here in SoCal tonight May 3, 2008, and will then be dismantled, packed up, and shipped to the Sooner State. 

The new  state-of-the-art replacement with computer generated special effects lighting should be ready to go by Memorial Day weekend.

Shipping weight is 122,000 pounds -- probably not gonna want to use FedEx for this one.
