It seems this photo was under a stack of other photos that I'd been working on in Photoshop. Thought I'd share.

These little guys are actually tough to see on a beach. They're small (about 6.5" long) but once they move, you'll be pleasantly surprised by just how many were hiding in plain sight. They travel in fairly large flocks. No mistaking how they got their name. :-)

Photo Notes: In order to get close to this guy and be able to compose this shot the way I saw it in my head, I had to scoot forward very slowly and shoot while on my belly. It was pure luck that he popped up onto this larger stone. The singing was an added bonus.
