Last Day of Autumn

            On Sunday our big snow storm ended so I went to Sheep Meadow to try to get some KAP views of our new wintry landscape. On the hike out, I saw this impressive tree making the most of autumn's final day. I used just 2/3rds of my carp pole to bring the EP1 to "tree eye level".

Later on, in Sheep Meadow, winds proved to be too gusty for KAP.  I'm glad I packed the pole. It's nice to have a PAP option when the winds aren't right.
