In the woods of Nordeste Village, on the island of São Miguel, “Fajã do Rodrigo” is a heavenly location valued by the “Ribeira do Guilherme” and its fantastic waterfalls that plunge into a huge natural pool of clean and refreshing waters. This forest reserve with 1,5 acres provides direct contact with the endemic flora and the enjoyment of place with  a rare kind of beauty in the island, perhaps because completely disassociated from the almost constant presence of the sea.

A Fajã do Rodrigo, situada no mato da Vila do Nordeste na ilha de São Miguel, é um lugar paradisíaco, valorizado pela Ribeira do Guilherme e as suas fantásticas cascatas que se precipitam num enorme poço de águas límpidas e refrescantes. No coração da Serra da Tronqueira, a Reserva Florestal da Fajã do Rodrigo, que se estende por uma área de 1,5 hectares, proporciona um contato direto com espaços naturais, com a flora endémica e o usufruto de um local de uma beleza rara de se encontrar na ilha, talvez por estar completamente dissociada da presença quase constante do mar.
