River Group: Baby Bath Spring - a photo on Flickriver

** We are on a photo hike of the River Group in Yellowstone's Lower Geyser Basin ** See the whole tour in the River Group Album.

We take our last photo at Baby Bath Spring overlooking the Firehole River. The water level in this spring is unusually low; often it is nearly full. Nearby is Grotto Spring, a pit of splashing mud down in a hole, but it's not particularly photogenic.

We're just a tenth of a mile from the bridge at Ojo Caliente Spring (see it out there?), then 4/10ths back to the car. We've hiked about 3 miles in 3 hours of exploring. I hope you enjoyed this tour of the River Group! Now back to our regularly scheduled variety show.
