Ever Wonder?

            I grew up and spent most of my life on the East Coast of the United States.  During my Navy career, I traveled Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Japan, and Australia. But, about 5 years ago, I decided to make Southern California my home.

Sure, the politics and taxation in California leave something to be desired....but, what place doesn't have its own shortcomings?  

What I do know is that this place, on just an average day, has scenes like this, straight from the movies and TV (of course, most are filmed somewhere relatively near here).  The people are friendly, the climate is wonderful, and the opportunities abound.  

For that, I say, it's good to be home.
