Art Historian

            A recent Sunday on the prairies, the daylight East of Lethbridge AB is luminous and inspiring, I sense within my bones October's Halloween weekend will bring that initial frost, yes it's only a week away. 

Often during short day trips you don't necessarily want to return back for Monday's office procedures and bland coffee. Recognizing one needs to keep their head about them, not to miss those tiny details and reoccurring thoughts you've done this before, somewhere….the composition and space just feels right, the distracting boxes have been discarded. And you might only have a few hours, or just the afternoon.

I know how quickly the white powder will appear in Alberta, and without protesting because nature has faithfully changed the rules again. Which reminds me, the history lessons our photographic experiences teach us were once hurdles we'd never imagined to jump, yet unraveling mysteries is our visual journey and responsibility.
