Today we went to the Big Basin Redwoods State Park located near us between the Silicon Valley and the coast of California. We found a beautiful spot for a photoshoot, nobody else was around. It was relatively dark in daytime, the redwoods are quite dense - not much light reaches the ground. The model Chantal did a great job posing on the tree trunk, my son threw the red lining up into the air and stepped back. It all worked out perfectly as planned, except for me the photographer - focus was off! To be repeated on a warmer day...

I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate your critical feedback.
