Lake Tahoe has plenty of snow currently, and new storms are approaching. I was driving along the lake in the early morning near Tahoe City, California, looking for some nice spots. The banks of snow along the road were too high to see the lake, so I stopped at a few places and climbed over the wall. I found this serene and peaceful spot.

I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photo from two RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the curves.
