            very princessy personality. no laps. a hisser. very dainty. looks like a french maid costume. on meds now and a little less bitchy. likes to go outiside [above]. her personality may be from her first months...

my mom bought her from a breeder who had cats all over her house. bad feeling about the practice. sophia [above] and her mom lived in a 10x10 room that was a washer dryer room. the lady with the house and the cats for sale is in silverlake california. I think she had a "real job" working for the phone company.

People that don't like cats think all cats are like her. They are wrong. Thank God. She is very lovable and will sit with my mother in bed, and she mews daintily at you.

*As much as I love bred cats I think the enterprise is unethical. Every one created means another gets killed, albeit "humanely" *

I have a nose for breeders now. I read a PR piece at a cat show: * It presented a circular argument. If there were no cat breeders, these breeds would die out. So? That's not an argument for keeping breeding going. It's a tautology, look it up. *

In her defense she will play with string and she looks like a million bucks. Fun. She's actually more grumpy in the last two years. She's about 10. Mom started to let her go outside. For some reason this made her meaner!

Also in past years my mother began to have her hair cut into the "lion cut" etc. which can only agrivate the animal.

Think about it. BRAIN research is conducted on cats, not monkeys. Their pain is just like ours. In fact nerve tissue is nerve tissue, no matter the animal. This isn't tree hugger malarchy. ***

Don't buy a bred cat. That's my hope. So we run out of pretty breeds. We have flickr for the images...
