            "In the spirit of Matthew Shepard, formed by his friend Romaine Patterson, we stand before you as a band of angels. We come from a number of backgrounds; We don't represent anyone group, religion, sex, race, age or sexual orientation. We are merely a group of people who joined together to bring forth a message of peace and love. So often we find groups of people that need to make a lot of noice about what they believe to be true. Hate is taking the lives of individuals who do not "fit in" with "society's norm." We don't believe we need to say anything at all, our actions speak for themselves. We feel that love, compassion and education are the answers to stop this thing called hate. Loving one another doesn't mean that we must compromise our beliefs, it simply means that we choose to be compassionate and respectful of others."
