noyo-0730-royal-mile - a photo on Flickriver

            This shot was taken late in the evening adjacent to a road junction. 

There were few people around and there was some light traffic occasioning past. 

While adjusting my tripod to frame this a bus pulled to a halt right beside me. Sensing I was no longer alone, I looked up momentarily from my labours to see a very busy lower deck of passengers, on my side of the bus, all looking intently at me, almost eye to eye. 

In another moment, the bus pulled away, my instant audience was gone as quickly as they had arrived. I was alone again. It was a surreal moment.
