Pilsner Urquell/Czech - a photo on Flickriver

            This beer has been my favorite since I first tried it in then Czechoslovakia, in the early 90s. Pilsner Urquell is available in the US on draft, in bottles and cans - the latter is very close to the real thing. This beer is very smooth, with a hint of sweetness, yet refreshingly bitter - truly a great brew. I would give itperfect score,but what we have in the US falls just a inch short of what you'd get in Plzen. Overall score -98 (cans), 93 (bottles).
