Nature creeping in (house #1) - a photo on Flickriver

Inside a empty 200 year old house in Bourbon county KY.

I walked through most of the house and the sound gave you a feeling that the house was breathing. The wind would catch a door and it would creak closed or open with a dull thump, the piano would make a soft out of tune ring. The wind also made the walls creak like an old sailing ship with little whistles through the broken windows. Even when the wind died down, it was never silent, birds living in the roof rustled, rodents scurried, this house is alive. A total of seven fireplaces, nine rooms, a caved in basement with sistern, 6.5 foot tall doors, the kitchen was caved in as well, but looked to be the only room with running water, besides an add on bathroom.
