La Donna - Piazza del Popolo, Roma, Italia

Rome, a cosmopolitan city filled with tourists from around the world, packed with locals who have a heart of gold and a passion for life that is palpable, and where the past meets the present at every street corner.

As the saying goes, all roads lead to Rome, and with good reason!

This picture came about as an accident, I wanted to take a shot of the crowd juxtaposed to the buildings surrounding the Piazza del Popolo as I happened to be there during an electoral gathering of the Partito Democratico before the elections a few days later. What I didn't expect was how the wealthy older woman would be starring me dead on, creating a pretty cool vibe with the whole scene!
