Sunlight Through Thick Clouds....

Yesterday we went for a walk down by Lake Ontario on the edge of Oakville. the weather was typical for this time of year; overcast and quite dark for early afternoon, the wind was calm and the Lake was placid and flat. suddenly a glimpse of sunlight found its way through the overcast sky... it cast brilliant shafts of silver light through the heavy clouds and illuminated the lake and shoreline with such a wonderful glow. I was happy to have been there to capture it.
