Mysterion - a photo on Flickriver

Mysterion

It was a damp, dreary night on Capitol Mall. A faint breeze was on the air, bringing what leaves were left on the trees to their final rest. I was out trying to get some scenes of the dense tule fog sitting over the city when I heard the faint sound of this train coming. I started running towards Old Sac and got to the center island just in time to set up before it crossed the street. A bystander yelled out asking how my shots were coming out with all this fog. I kinda nodded as I didn't have much time to set up. Five seconds go by and she loudly exclaims towards me, "Look, look at the train!". Yeah yeah I got it lady, ugh. Trying to figure out how to best capture it was tough, but I knew I would want to duplicate what I shot from here the last time I was at this spot. I originally had no intention at all of shooting here tonight, but it must have been fate, cause the last time I shot here was EXACTLY a year ago:
