            This will be my last post for almost a month. I'm off to Canada with non photographic friends so it will be more about enjoying the scenery than photographing the wildlife. Have fun while I'm away.

Female Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis). I have to say that, for me, this is without doubt one of my best shots to date.

Note the large fish that just escaped.
