Typically MUNICH: Panorama from Olympiaturm

I've taken this shot from Olympiaturm observation deck. The deck is located 190 metres above the ground. At the same level, there's also The Rock Museum, with many souvenirs (posters, tickets, photos and so on) left after the stars like The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, AC/DC, Scorpions, Iron Maiden and many others. You can get there via the elevator, with the speed of 7 metres per second. The Turm is the tallest building in the city.

When you step outside, there's a wind blowing and the maginificent view all around you. I had similar feelings when I had been on the top of the Sky Tower in Wrocław, a year before Munich. But my father had never been so high on the building before, so it was a very new experience for him. Indeed, the view is unforgettable: the whole city laying in front of you, and what was most important for me - the mountains, the Bavarian Alps somewhere in the horizon. Since I had been organizing my own travels, especially since 2016 when I had been in Wrocław, I felt like the mountains were calling me to finally see them. That's why the view was so magical for me.

This is the view taken in the another (the eastern) direction. In the foreground, you can see the BMW Headquarters. The 'disc' at its foot - is BMW Museum, and the complex on the left from these two building - is the BMW Group Plant Munich, the parent plant of the BMW Group.

If you take a close look, there also the famous Allianz Arena visible in the upper left corner, just under the horizon.

What's really visible in this picture - there's so much green areas in Munich. Seriously, even at parking lots nearby shops like Lidl or Netto, there were green spaces. Feels like people here decided the city is going to be BEAUTIFUL (and GREEN). And, moreover, this feeling accompanied me during the whole Bavarian journey.

The road that cut the picture is Bundesstraße 2 R, know also (and much better) as Mittlerer Ring, the downtown beltway, one of the most important roads in Munich transport system (and drivers' hell at mid-late afternoon...).
