BEGET - a photo on Flickriver

BEGET

            Beget is a really old village discovered by chance in one of my photo excursions.
I had left behind Camprodón and I headed north, the border with France and intended to get through, because this part do not know, when I saw a detour that put Beget.
Due to my ignorance because I had not even heard of this town, I decided to research and I was awarded the jackpot.
It is an ancient village because his church dates from the twelfth century. Composed of stone buildings perfectly preserved. Many of them restored that are a delight for the photographer. Also the streets are paved with irregular, rounded stones (an ordeal for shoes with heels) Two riverbeds without water when I was, bridges of the same material etc. etc.
From what I've read, it is a village without history, without kings, counts and marquises who have inhabited. It was and remains a town of farmers, ranchers and little else. There are only 27 permanent inhabitants, although the reality is that there are many second homes for vacationers and in summer has a lot of life.
It is the typical small town that when you're going and you come across someone, they greet you even if they don't know anything of you, and if you give conversation, you no longer have time for anything else.
Really the village is well known (it was not for me), since I have seen countless photographs and descriptions in Google.
I have had many doubts about upload my photo in color or black and white as both are correct, but as I have seen all pics in color, I have decided for this release.

Beget es un pueblo realmente muy antiguo que descubrí por casualidad en una de mis excursiones fotográficas.
Había dejado atrás Camprodón y me dirigía hacia el norte, la frontera con Francia y pretendía atravesarla, pues esta parte la desconozco, cuando vi un desvió que ponía Beget.
Dada mi ignorancia pues ni siquiera había oído hablar de esta localidad, de decidí a investigar y me fue concedido el premio gordo.
Se trata de un pueblo milenario pues su iglesia data del siglo XII. Compuesto de edificios de piedra perfectamente conservados. Muchos de ellos restaurados que son una delicia para el fotógrafo. también las calles son empedradas con piedras irregulares y redondeadas ( un suplicio para zapatos con tacones) Dos rieras sin agua cuando yo estuve, puentes del mismo material etc. etc.
Por lo que yo he leído, es un pueblo sin historia, sin reyes, condes o marqueses que lo hayan habitado. Fue y sigue siendo un pueblo de agricultores, ganaderos y poca cosa más. Solo quedan 27 habitantes fijos, aunque la realidad es que hay muchas segundas residencias para veraneantes y en época estival tiene mucha vida.
Es el típico pueblo que cuando paseas y te cruzas con alguien, te saludan aunque no te conozcan de nada y si les das conversación, ya no te queda tiempo para nada más.
En realidad, el pueblo, es muy conocido, (no lo era para mi), ya que he visto infinidad de fotografías y descripciones en Google.
 Yo tenía muchas dudas en subir mi foto en color o en blanco y negro pues las dos han quedado bien, pero como he visto todas las fotos en color, me he decido por esta versión.
