‘눈의 피로 덜어주는 똑똑한 모니터’

LG전자(대표 南鏞, www.lge.co.kr)가 모니터 밝기 자동조절, 사용 시간 알림 등 스마트 기능을 적용한
풀HD 플래트론 모니터 2개 시리즈(W53/W54 시리즈)를 7일 출시했다.

이 제품의 ‘오토 브라이트(Auto Bright)’ 기능은 센서가 주변 밝기를 감지해 모니터 밝기를 9단계로
자동 조절, 모니터를 장시간 사용할 때 느끼는 눈의 피로를 덜어준다.

또, 한 시간 단위로 모니터 전원 버튼이 반짝이며 눈의 휴식 시간을 알려주는 ‘타임 컨트롤(Time Control)’
기능도 적용됐다.

화면에 여러 개의 창이 떠 있을 때 보고 싶은 화면을 제외한 나머지 화면을 검게 처리할 수 있는 ‘시네마 모드
(Cinema mode)’ 기능으로 UCC 감상도 편리하게 할 수 있다.

제품 하단을 투명하게 처리하는 한편, 전원과 기능 버튼에 근접 센서를 내장해 손이 버튼 가까이 다가가면
자동으로 빛을 내는 등 보는 즐거움도 더했다.

이 제품에는 LG전자의 독자적인 명암비 향상기술인 DFC(Digital Fine Contrast)를 적용, 5만대1의
세계 최고 명암비를 지원하며 2ms 초고속 응답속도를 구현했다.

W53시리즈와 W54 시리즈는 각각 16:9와 16:10의 와이드 화면을 지원하며, 47cm(18.5 인치)에서부터
69 cm(27 인치)까지 8개 모델로 구성돼 있다.

LG전자 HE마케팅 이우경 상무는, “고화질의 동영상을 많이 이용하는 소비자에게 최적의 멀티미디어 환경을
제공하는 제품으로 풀HD 모니터 시장을 공략할 것”이라고 말했다.
