Invasion from Mars

            One of the first photos I took back in 2004, I didn´t shoot nearly then as much as I do now.  It was taken on on Hellisheiði on the way back to Reykjavík from a little daytrip I made.

I just thought this scene looked pretty surreal, that the smoke coming from Hellisheiðarvirkjun behind these electical wires made it seem that Iceland was under invasion from an alien lifeforce.  More specifically it made me think of the Invasion from Mars.  I used a relatively long focal length to compress the scene.  Oh and that smoke is coming from a geothermal plant so it´s actually just steam.

Maybe I am crazy or do you see it too?
