The Power of 3

            Since my recent trip to Acadia included exactly 0 sunsets or sunrises (the sun came closest to breaking through during the shot from Bass Harbor Lighthouse posted a few shots previously), I had to find other interesting things to shoot. I got creative at times. This semi-abstract was taken by a small swampy pond called The Tarn, which is between the village of Bar Harbor and the Blackwoods Campground where my girlfriend and I were staying. We had these low fog clouds almost the whole week. I noticed when I was setting up a shot here that it was possible to frame it so that the image would be equally divided into three sections, with three very different textures.
