            we might ask: what’s gone wrong with the world? but i like to re-frame the question: what's good and beautiful about the world? jeremy adam smith reports, “the current research suggests: if you want to find and foster the good in society, you need to start by searching for the goodness inside yourself.” 

when i feel doubt, frustration, or fear, i often project it on everything. but when i foster self-acceptance, awareness, and compassion, i see differently. i see light in myself and light in others. i see goodness in the world--goodness that is bright and beautiful.
