My old cameras: Topcon RE: 1972-

            Remarkably automated pre-auto-focus 35mm SLR which I still have, bough 2nd hand in 1972 and used in the early 1970s (though could not afford too much film or development) and now wish I'd shot  so many more slides than I did - & on which I took the earliest of the photos now reproduced on Flickr. Still works: very advanced when introduced in the late 1960s. They stopped making cameras or Topcor lenses and my wish for more lenses and service in the UK meant that when my first kid was born, I wanted a new SLR and bought a Canon AE1 instead.
