LC-39A with Falcon 9 - a photo on Flickriver

            A Falcon 9 about a minute and a half before the launch of the SES 10 communications satellite. It was venting some gas. I'm guessing it was oxygen that had boiled, but that what is visible is actually cloud-like water vapor that formed around the cold gas.

When the full-sized image is viewed, a tiny bit of the top of the Falcon 9 can be seen near the top of the Space Shuttle gantry under the  lightning suppression rod. A little further down on the right side, stripes of the US flag on the rocket are visible through the old gantry. A sliver of the rocket's other side is also visible, but the rocket is mostly obstructed. On the right of the taller tower of the old grey gantry is the newer white gantry of the Falcon 9 that SpaceX calls the strong-back. It is less obstructed than the rocket and can be seen down to the trees.
