First off, thank you for all the words of encouragement on my last post. I'll keep plugging along with my talks, but want to post some images that I've been working on to help flesh out some ideas on getting multiple takes on similar locations. Variety is the spice of life after all!

Back in January, I met up with Steve (aka maxxsmart) for a morning shoot of the bridge(s). While there, we ran into Lukas and his wife Megan as well. Almost 8 months later, I'm getting around to posting a shot. The processing here is pretty simple: high contrast. Local adjustments were needed here and there to get the look the way I wanted. I got somewhat lucky with this one. I had about 15 different compositions this morning, each with multiple frames taken...except for this one. This composition, I took one shot, and this is it. I guess I wasn't all that thrilled with it on the morning I took it, but now, looking back, it is the one I like the most. Go figure!

A Greasemonkey script that adds Flickriver links to various Flickr photo pages - user photos, favorites, pools etc, allowing to quickly open the corresponding Flickriver view.

Also, allows quickly viewing any Flickr photo on black background in large size.
