Festival Classique 2008 - Quirine Viersen

Celliste Quirine Viersen speelt soloconcerten met beroemde maestro's als Valery Gergiev, Bernard Haitink en Zubin Mehta. Kamermuziek vertolkt zij in belangrijke zalen en festivals. Zij is één van de succesvolste solistes uit ons land. Het grote repertoire speelt zij zeer overtuigend, maar Festival Classique vroeg haar nu om juist met verrassender, onbekender repertoire te komen. Viersen maakte een hoogstpersoonlijke keuze uit het cellorepertoire, die ze vanmorgen in de stijlvolle Paul Steenbergen Foyer van de Koninklijke Schouwburg ten gehore bracht.
