Grain Elevator Complex - Caledonia, IL

            I was recently back in Illinois for my sister's wedding. I decided that I didn't want to experience her wedding looking through a tiny viewfinder so for the first time in quite some time I didn't take any pictures at a wedding. That didn't stop me from taking pictures for the rest of my trip back home, though.

I think my favorite shot was this photo of the grain elevator complex in Caledonia, IL. I always embrace fog whenever I have the opportunity because of the sense of depth that it can convey to a scene. Plus there's always a bit of a mysterious feel to foggy shots. I love the old wooden elevator still standing in this complex, too. It's a little hard to find it amongst the newer, larger corrugated silos all around it, though!
