Nissan Advertisement? - a photo on Flickriver

            I bought a Xterra when I moved to Hilo, since all the interesting spots on the Big Island require 4wd to access. Here I'm at the Green Sand Beach near South Point, the southernmost point in the US. It was a muddy adventure to get here... I had wheels in the air multiple times over obstacles, and repeatedly almost became stuck in mud pits. I purchased recovery gear a month ago, and I used it to drag out two pickup trucks that had become stuck.

The Xterra has happily accepted my off-road abuse, so thus far I'm quite pleased with it.
