Pink Dogwood - Happy Mother's Day - a photo on Flickriver

            Taken exactly three years ago today and still going quite strong despite never having made explore.   I'd like to use this one more time and wish all the mom's out there a Happy 2016 Mother's Day!!!!!

The Pink Dogwood - I've been driving by this tree on my way home from work and this year I decided to stop and ask if I could take a couple of pictures.  The homeowner was nice and said it would be no problem - little did he know this would entail stopping every evening, camping out on his lawn and working the evening light like a possessed lunatic.  A big tree is just so much to study and take in.  I took a couple of shots and every time I looked them over I huffed a bit.  Today it was raining all day so I've been reviewing my folders, I opened this image and smiled a bit, this is what I wanted to see!!  To all the mom's out there, Happy Mother's Day
