1990 Vauxhall Cavalier 2.0 GLi & 1989 Vauxhall Nova 1.0 Base

            Before spotting the 300ZX, I was very pleased to see this immaculate red Cavalier five-door, similar  to the first car I remember my father owning as a toddler. So of course I had to park next to it for this photo oppertunity. Local FL numberplate clearly denotes OAP owner, and also, it is a rare 2.0 Cavalier that has not been piked for its engine. Pleasingly, the red paintwork has retained its lustre so it has obviously been loved.

Hard to believe that both cars would have been sold alongside each other in period - the styling differences between them are staggering - no wonder the Nova was facelifted in 1990 to mimic the Cavalier's nose.
