Henry - an hour after his rescue. - a photo on Flickriver

            I got a call from my friend Mona Tehrani asking me to help get this stray poodle.

Her friend Izabela was able to corner him in her yard, but he wouldn't allow anyone to touch him.

In a quick move (too quick to even try to get it on camera), I got him.  

This poor kid is so scared of men, and he found comfort in the hands of Mona & Izabela.

From there I continued to the hospital, and my dear friend Jacqueline Artecona offered to come and bath him (he smelled so bad).

He felt safe in her lap, and eventually he fell asleep.

In the next few days I will work with him, hug him, give him treats, and teach him that I am actually OK   :-)
