Mirage IIIC Shahak Video - a photo on Flickriver

I´m a huge fan of the Israeli Armed Forces and for many years I read dozens of books about the Six Days and the Yom Kippur Wars.
Perhaps the most famous aircraft used by the Israelis was the Dassault Mirage IIIC; the success that the aircraft achieved during the war lead to the sale of thousands of Mirage III, Mirage F-1 and the Mirage 2000.

About the model:
The model represents a Mirage IIIC with 10 kill marks. The aircraft eventually achieved 3 more kills. It has the camouflage that was applied to most Israeli fighters at the beginning of the Seventies.
The model features retractable landing gear, access to the cockpit, removable gun pod for maintenance, extendable airbrakes on the wings and movable elevators.
