Bear Pudding 312121 - a photo on Flickriver

            A young brown bear, dampened by an early morning river crossing, meanders slowly across the cool brown sands of the Cook Inlet. Looking quite relaxed, she is in no rush. High tides and summer breezes have given the beach a smooth creamy texture, reminiscent of a freshly made bowl of pudding. She stops briefly, gazing ahead, seemingly in deep thought. Who knows what’s on her mind? Perhaps she is simply waiting for the tide to ebb, so that she might spend some time digging for clams in the inlet’s murky brown sands? Perhaps she is simply enjoying the warm rays of sun filtering through wispy clouds and early morning ocean fog. I would love to have asked her, but I guess these are things that we will never really know. #BrownBears
