Collected Flakes (Dec 16th 2017, #1)

Wonderful conditions with about -11C and some calm snow falling. This was one of the bigger flakes I observed/photographed. I used a fluffy tuque to collect flakes as they fell down, then brought the tuque under cover to shoot.

Pentax-M 135mm F/3.5 plus coupled reversed Sigma 24-70mm F/3.5-5.6 zoom, with off-camera diffused Godox AD180 flash. I believe this was with the zoom pretty much maxed out around 70mm, so about 2:1. Just cropped the width of the frame. This image is about 12mm wide. 33-frame handheld focus stack. (!)
