Stairwell, Minnesota State Capitol - a photo on Flickriver

An almost-abstract view of one of the interior stairwells of the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul.

This was a tricky shot to get since I was shooting with my trigger-grip ball head which, I discovered, isn't really up to holding the weight of a D700 + 14-24mm when they are pointing straight up. One day, when I'm rich and famous, I'll have one of those really solid Really Right Stuff heads....
