Stamen - a photo on Flickriver

I shot mostly for HDR yesterday morning during the photo walk but couldn't resist getting the macro lens out at one point when we came across some great flowers in an area of landscaping outside the Silicon Laboratories building.

This shot was taken in available light, but this worked out OK since I was intending to get the ends of the stamen in focus and the background completely blurred. You probably shouldn't look at this too large, though, since it's not quite as sharp as I would like but it's good enough for screen resolutions so here it is anyway.
