Kensington Park view - a photo on Flickriver

The weather was awful when I took this shot (not rainy, just grey and boring) so to make things more interesting I played around with the contrasts and desaturated the shot (it isn't a black and white). 

View over the Long Water (the upper, western part of the Serpentine), taken from the Italian gardens. Kensington Gardens were once a part of Hyde Park (and they are still next to each other, without any obvious separation). But it was separated in 1728 on order from queen Caroline and was the private garden of Kensington Palace.
