The Oldest Citizen of Brussels - a photo on Flickriver

            "THE OLDEST CITIZEN OF BRUSSELS"

This charming little statue, called the Mannekin Pis, is built into the corner of a house not far from the Brussels Market Place.  The story of the fountain is that at the beginning of the 17th century a little boy was lost.  When his father finally found him, he built a statue depicting the child in the exact pose in which he was discovered.
