Age of Steam

As improbable as it seems, from the Age of Steam come additional photonique captures.

It is not known when nor where these were taken. It is additionally not know what these represent. Perhaps our scientists will be able to tease out a few clues for our consideration.

I am very taken by the images of Renaud Bergeron. This is my attempt at following his incredible lead.

For this image, I put the Zeiss Biotar design Helios 44-2 on the 5D MkII and opened the lens to f/2. I put a shop halogen light on a mount adapter and threaded a shoot-thru umbrella into place. The result is a very nice portrait light.
