            After a certain government minister was caught faunting the photography restrictions, the musee reversed it's direction and now allows images to be taken (san flash).  These are from my first trip to the musee since the restriction was lifted.

I took two Nikon manual focus lenses, mated them to a Lens Turbo II focal length reducer, shot them wide open, and took a look at the results.  There's a "painterly" look about the full rez files.  That is, there's lots of spherical aberrations seen with the apertures wide open.  For this kind of work I still prefer my Sigma DN Art optics, which are critically sharp from wide open.
