This is an old train bridge (built in 1939) on the River Sava in Zagreb, Croatia, originally named "The Green Bridge" (because of its green paintjob), but much better known colloquially as the Hendrix Bridge, after somebody graffitied the rock legend’s name on the bridge in 1995. The Croatian Railways have over the years tried to remove the graffiti but to no avail. The famous ‘Hendrix’ graffiti would soon re-appear after every paint job (as can be seen in the photo). There is a big push currently going on for the bridge to have its name officially changed to the Hendrix Bridge, and over 5,000 people signed a petition to that effect.

I've wanted to make this image for quite a while but conditions were never quite right until last night: the moon was in a perfect spot, the sky was clear and visibility unlimited. The only hitch was that I had to wait for about 45 minutes for a passenger train to pass by, as all lines ran on a Sunday schedule.
