Peña Foratata Sallent de Gallego ( mayo 2014 )

            A penya Foratata ye una tuca situata en a cabecera d'a val de Tena sobre Sallén de Galligo. Fa part d'o Pireneu axial y ye formata por calsineras d'edat devoniana.
O suyo nombre se debe a que tien una breca taponata con una piedra amán d'a suya tuca que se veye dende bells puestos y que parixe un forato.

Sallent de Gállego (en aragonés Sallén de Galligo) es un municipio español, perteneciente a la comarca de Alto Gállego,

Se encuentra a orillas del Embalse de Lanuza y al pie de las más altas cumbres de la cordillera, muy cerca ya de la frontera con Francia. Su término constituye la capital del Valle de Tena.

Antiguamente y junto a Lanuza conformaba el llamado Quiñón de Sallent, uno de los tres históricos territorios en los que se dividía administrativamente el valle.

Parte de su término municipal está ocupado por el Monumento natural de los Glaciares Pirenaicos.
