Horse toile fabric brown silhouette - a photo on Flickriver

            Tonal stripes form a background for horses running between bare trees. One of the few fabrics with just horses, not people in the pattern. It was also unique in that it is actually a silhuette fabric, not a toile, though it reads like one. The effect was of horss running free on a misty morning. It was delightful.

The actual fabric had a heavy, almost bark cloth effect. 

 A Fired Earth fabric.
