Lesser Goldfinch (m) (4417) - a photo on Flickriver

            I wanted some up-close photos of some birds, which means setting up a twig and feeder in my back yard, and coaxing some finches in.  At this time of year we get l ots of House Finches, Pine Siskins, and Lesser Goldfinches.  Many of the male Lesser Goldfinches look pretty scruffy this time of year, but this one's feathers look pretty nice.
