Raleigh, North Carolina at solar eclipse peak.
There is no need for a filter to protect your eyes when your camera has "live view" (LCD screen on the back of the camera).
I stopped it down way down (f22), used the highest shutter speed (1/4000 second), and the lowest film speed (ISO 50).
Then I dropped the exposure another 1 & 2/3 stops in post.

It is critical to briefly aim your camera at the sun. Otherwise, it will burn a hole in the shutter of melt the plastic covering on your sensor.

1. with both the sun and moon rising in the east, why did the shadow come from the west?
2. why does the shadow's path looks like a sine wave on a globe, but on a flat earth map, it is an eclipse?
3. why did no one see the moon just prior or just after the eclipse when the sun should've created a bright crescent?
4. with the earth many times more reflective and much bigger than the moon, why didn't the sun's reflection off the earth light up the moon?

Do we understand the earth, sun, moon and rahu?
