Yet again, my apologies for not being around for a long time.........
the outdoor season is here, and I am busy, busy, busy !!
In addition to the Easter break, we had a "Staycation", aka a holiday at home, luckily, given the problems with the Volcanic Ash affecting flights !! We spent a couple of days on the Isle of Eigg, incredibly beautiful, and so photogenic in the right light......we had cloudless skies, combined with haze, not the best recipe for Landscape Photography. However, this helped a lot with shooting a Sunset from the pristine beach at the Bay of Laig....preventing flare and burnout. Ideally I wanted the sea swirling around the rocks, but the tide went out very rapidly, so I settled for reflections and patterns in the sand. I added a six stop ND filter and chose to do a three shot HDR.
