Anna the Soldier - a photo on Flickriver

Anna the Soldier

            I met Anna while visiting my old high school. She was in the editing room of film class and I went there to meet up with the teacher to discuss something. There was an instant click between Anna and I and we met a few more times, mainly to eat pizza and to take pictures.

A short while after that the school year ended and Anna got drafted to the army, as all Israelis do after they hit 18.

This photo was taken several days after her drafting and she was just getting accustomed to wearing uniform, something that was unthinkable for her before. We tried to be humorous about it all and this is one of the cutest photos of that session, in my opinion.
