Stairs to the Subway - a photo on Flickriver

This is a re-work of a photo from a year and a half ago, and I wanted to bring it back up as I finish a project. My original editing work needed improvement--it's amazing what you learn as time goes on. :-)

This is the point in my journey where I almost cried and turned around (due to lack of time and a rushed schedule before I had to catch a plane)--about 1/4 of a mile outside the actual Subway. Fortunately, I ran into some exceptionally nice hikers who told me I only had a little ways to go. They were the first people I'd found in my 4.5 mile hike out here. I love, love, love this spot.
